Loading a Cyclone Database

Save this file to your computer, right click and "extract all..." This is a large file so allow time for it to download.
You must have Leica GeoSystems Cyclone installed to proceed with this Tutorial

Download Cyclone from this Page
Save this file to your computer, right click and "extract all..."
Then install the program as a free viewer version.

If you wish to continue using the Sketch workspace, add the PointCloud Ribbon to your current workspace so you can enable the Pointcloud tools:
Configuring a Cyclone Database
Select "Configure Databases" from the "Project" group of the MsPointcloud ribbon.
Select the (unshared) option:
Pick on “Databases” and then Pick “Add”
Pick the “…” and browse to the IMP file: Bank Scene – Cropped\BankScene.imp which you will have extracted from the sample data that was downloaded in step 1 of this tutorial.
Pick "Open" and "OK"
Pick "OK"
Note that your new database has now been added.:
Importing a Modelspace View:
Pick on “…” and browse to your newly created database:
Drag the bar on the right further down to see the full tree:
Select “ModelSpace 1 View 1 and pick "Open."
Set your units to feet and pick "OK"
The final result.
Save
Pick the "Save" button to save your work:
