I have an issue with Mobile Product licensing (FieldGenius, Layout or Evidence Recorder)

When you purchase a mobile product/field software from MicroSurvey (FieldGenius, Layout, Evidence Recorder, etc) you are supplied with a GUID (Globally Unique ID). Your mobile product will only function if the GUID has been registered in our system with a Device ID.

GUID: Is the ID number of your field software from MicroSurvey. Each copy of field software has a unique GUID.

Device ID: This is an ID which is unique to each mobile device. When you install a field product it will generate a Device ID. The Device ID is matched to your GUID so only your specific device can run the copy of field software you purchased.

Key: This is used to match a GUID with a Device ID, effectively activating your field software. You will generate this password on the MicroSurvey Registration webpage.

Expiry Date: The date up until which you are able to download updates of your field software. You will not be able to run any field software released after your expiry date. You must call MicroSurvey or your dealer to update your maintanance subscription or purchase a new version. Your current software will continue to work past your expiry date; it only affectes which updates are available to you.
