Error Message: CBIOS:ERR_CONN_REFUSED

Problem: The following error message is displayed after choosing "Connect" on the Network Server Adminitrative Console.

This message could indicate the following:

  • The Network Server Launcher is not running
  • An incorrect Port number is entered under "Connect to Server". Port 8765 is be used by default
  • USB License Manager open in the background. You must have USB License Manager closed when trying to connect to the Network Server

Solution:

  • Close USB License Manager after you confirm your USB key is up to date
  • Ensure the Network Server is running
  • Restart the server
  • Confirm the IP Address, Port number and Password are entered correctly
