Ensure software has been run as administrator

All MicroSurvey products need to be "Run as Administrator" or "Run with elevated permissions" at least once after installation before they will function properly. If you install the program and select the default final step of launching the program this will automatically be taken care of, but if you skip this step or if a security policy or third party security software has somehow interfered with the process you may need to repeat this step.

First, ensure that you are logged into an account that has full administrative priviledges, if you are not, please ask an IT administrator to help you with the next step.

To run a program as administrator you can:

- Right click on the shortcut on your desktop and choose "Run as administrator", or

- From Start Menu locate the program, right click and choose "Run as administrator"

*NOTE: if you are prompted for a password after you follow these steps it is an indication you do not have enough permissions to complete this step. Please contact an IT administrator for help.
