I have inserted the USB key and there is an LED, but I am seeing the same error message

Installing USB Key Drivers

Please ensure that you have restarted your computer recently and that all Windows updates are complete. Then follow these instructions to manually install the USB driver:

  • Install the standalone version of the latest License Manager software from this link
  • Open File Explorer
  • Browse to: C:\Program Files (x86)\MicroSurvey\USB License Manager\Drivers\CTSetup
  • Double click on"CBUSetup.exe" and follow the prompts to install the driver.
  • Restart your computer
  • Check that the red light on your USB key is on.
  • Now run the software to see if you have solved the problem

If you are still having issues, also try installing this link before moving on, as some newer computers may required it due to new USB port types.
