Error Message Reads: Server [name] was not detected
This error message will appear for 2 reasons:
1. The Server Name (or IP Address) was enetered incorrectly
2. The Server Name was correct, but there is a connection issue between your computer and the Network License Server
This indicates one (or more) of the following:
- There is an issue communicating with the license server. Please check with the person or IT department who set up the Network License to confirm the connection is working.
- The Network License Server utility was not installed or setup properly. Please check with the person or IT department who set up the Network License to confirm it is installed and working on the server.
- The Server name was entered incorrectly. Please check with the person or IT department who set up the Network License to identify the computer name for the license server. Or, try entering the numeric IP address instead.
