Geoid Models

Geoid models are used by FieldGenius to convert ellipsoid heights to orthometric heights. FieldGenius will by default use ellipsoid heights but you can define a geoid model to be used instead if orthometric heights are desired.

Geoid models are not installed by default and must be downloaded from the MicroSurvey website. Geoid models are available for most regions around the world.
